When using an M3 oil pump; the M3 splined sprocket is wider than the standard, early M10, so we offer a correct sprocket and a new chain, which matches the original crankshaft sprocket. The kit comes with a spacer that sets the sprocket in the correct position and a nut pre-drilled for lock wire.
THE ORDER OF ASSEMBLY IS: SPACER, SPROCKET, RED LOCKTITE AND THEN NUT! Lockwire the nut to the sprocket under tension.
Tighten to 25 - 30 ft/lbs
